Invitation to Speak at BOSTAA 2025

I’m honoured to announce that I’ve been invited to speak at the upcoming BOSTAA Annual Meeting in November 2025 – a premier event in the field of sports trauma and orthopaedic medicine.

The British Orthopaedic Sports Trauma and Arthroscopy Association (BOSTAA) meeting has become a key fixture in the calendar for surgeons, physiotherapists, sports doctors, and allied professionals dedicated to improving outcomes in sports injury care. This year’s event promises to be one of the most dynamic yet, with a line-up of expert speakers, innovative research, and practical sessions designed to challenge and inspire.

I’ve been asked to speak on a subject I’m deeply passionate about: Injury Prevention. In my talk, I’ll be focusing on evidence-based strategies that can reduce the risk of serious knee injuries, especially ACL ruptures, in both amateur and elite athletes. Prevention matters – not just for performance, but for long-term joint health and quality of life. It’s a conversation we need to keep having, and I’m thrilled to contribute to it on such a respected national platform.

I’m incredibly grateful to the BOSTAA committee for this opportunity and look forward to engaging with colleagues and sharing ideas that can make a real difference on and off the field.

More details about the meeting, including the full programme and registration info, can be found at www.bostaameeting.com.

See you in November!
